Who We Are

Cheapwebsitestore ("we", "us") sells website templates and related design, development and support services. Cheapwebsitestore is a trading name of Bartrekker Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 15524617, with its registered office at 8 Melton Road, WA7 4AH — Bartrekker Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.

What We Collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect: your name, email address and phone number (account registration, contact forms, the Instant Quote tool); billing address and order details (checkout); account credentials (if you register); and basket contents, stored in your browser (localStorage) so your basket persists between visits — this stays on your device and is not sent to us until you check out.

If you buy as a business, we also collect your company name and VAT number (if you give one). If you book a call with us, the booking details you enter (such as your name, email address and chosen time) are collected through Cal.com. We also receive basic technical information automatically, such as your IP address and browser and device details, through our hosting provider's server logs and, only if you consent, through analytics and advertising technologies (see below).

Why We Use Your Data & Our Legal Basis

Under UK GDPR we must have a legal basis for using your personal data. We rely on:

If you tick the marketing box at checkout, we may email you about our products and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to keep the site working (e.g. remembering your cookie preferences and your basket). Only with your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used, and marketing cookies for advertising, as described in the next section. We do not load analytics or advertising technologies unless you have agreed to them. See the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer to change or withdraw your preferences at any time.

Advertising & Remarketing

If you accept marketing cookies, we may use Google Ads and similar advertising services, together with Google Analytics, to measure how our adverts perform and to show you relevant adverts on Google, YouTube and other websites in Google's advertising network. This may involve cookies, advertising identifiers and similar technologies that record information about how you use this site (for example, pages viewed and actions taken, such as starting a checkout or booking a call), and may be used to build audiences so we can show our adverts to people who have visited before (remarketing).

Google and other advertising partners may collect and use this information under their own privacy policies; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Our legal basis for this is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through "Cookie Settings" in the footer. You can also manage personalised advertising from Google in your Google Ads Settings.

We do not use advertising cookies or similar technologies on this site unless you have consented to them.

Payments

We do not store your card details. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (e.g. Stripe); your card details are handled entirely by them, in line with their own security standards and privacy policy.

Third-Party Tools

Where a template or service you purchase includes a third-party integration — Swell (store/accounts), Stripe (payments), Cal.com (bookings), or Beds24 (property booking) — that provider processes data under their own privacy policy. We only share what's necessary to deliver the service you've purchased. We also use Netlify to host this site and Google Workspace for email, and, if you consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads as described above. If you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in or create an account, Google verifies your identity and shares your name and verified email address with us, which we use to create and secure your account; Google handles that sign-in under its own privacy policy, and we never receive your Google password.

International Transfers

Some of the providers above (including Google, Stripe, Swell, Netlify and Cal.com) may process personal data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for such transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as described in their own privacy policies.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it:

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, ask for a copy of it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given (for example, through "Cookie Settings" or by unsubscribing from marketing emails). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights; we will normally reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new tools or services. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell you about significant changes where we reasonably can.
